		<description><![CDATA[I had to laugh at this.  After moving overseas, this was a stunner for me too!  But yes, I think the US is one of the only countries where eggs are refrigerated.  Think about it, in their natural state, (when they come out of the chicken), they aren&#039;t refrigerated!  So I guess it&#039;s okay.  I think they last longer refrigerated, but I can&#039;t be sure without an experiment and fresh-from-the-chicken eggs.
