I loved the allspice streusel topping and the lemon zest is really nice with it. I thought these were pretty nice little muffins and intend to make them according to the recipe. I enjoyed playing around with some substitutions this time. So it’ll be good to compare.

I think you are right about the lemon zest. It probably did amp the flavor up a bit.

Muffins (especially crumb ones) are seriously the most comforting thing on a cool fall morning. With a nice mug of coffee or tea! Looks delicious
