Yum! Your chubby cookies look cute and perfect with the gelato! Adding espresso is a great idea. These were a little mild in taste and that could certainly add depth.

Okay, those look fantastic, and I don’t use that word lightly when it comes to chocolate entries. It was either Public or Perish over at The Table this week, don’t want to chance being kicked off the island, so the only thing perishing now is my rep as someone who can possibly churn out a cookie or two in fine style. Wow. Caramel gelato sounds amazing right now. And I love that you subbed espresso powder for the spices. It’s like a Caramel Macchiato in whoopie form!
