caramelized cinnamon-milk chocolate tart

This Caramelized Cinnamon-Milk Chocolate Tart was a yummy treat. The ganache filling (made with milk chocolate and cinnamon-infused caramel…I used ground cinny instead of a stick) reminded me of a candy bar, so that made we want to top it with salty peanuts. I’ll make this one again when I have some extra sweet tart dough around. For the recipe, see Baking Chez Moi by Dorie Greenspan. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the TWD Blogroll!

  1. This is SO gorgeous!

  2. I used ground cinnamon too. It worked just fine, except I made the rookie mistake of adding it before the sugar caramelised – umm, then I had brown sugar and kinda had to wing the caramelisation stage 😁 Your dressing up of the tart is brilliant – that is restaurant worthy.

  3. So funny you said that about the candy bar..my family said the same thing! I wonder if the ground cinnamon would work better. I thought the sticks gave a pretty faint taste. I think it could have been bumped up a bit…but still delicious. We loved it. Love your peanuts on top!

  4. I love your recipes! Also check out my recipes and do share! ( by clicking my name)!!

  5. Lucky that you get to make it again. My husband would love the peanuts. This was such a winner for us.
