Tuesdays with Dorie BCM: Caramelized Cinnamon-Milk Chocolate Tart

This Caramelized Cinnamon-Milk Chocolate Tart was a yummy treat. The ganache filling (made with milk chocolate and cinnamon-infused caramel…I used ground cinny instead of a stick) reminded me of a candy bar, so that made we want to top it with salty peanuts. I’ll make this one again when I have some extra sweet tart dough around. For the recipe, see Baking Chez Moi by Dorie Greenspan. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the TWD Blogroll!

I used ground cinnamon too. It worked just fine, except I made the rookie mistake of adding it before the sugar caramelised – umm, then I had brown sugar and kinda had to wing the caramelisation stage 😁 Your dressing up of the tart is brilliant – that is restaurant worthy.

So funny you said that about the candy bar..my family said the same thing! I wonder if the ground cinnamon would work better. I thought the sticks gave a pretty faint taste. I think it could have been bumped up a bit…but still delicious. We loved it. Love your peanuts on top!

Lucky that you get to make it again. My husband would love the peanuts. This was such a winner for us.
